Since childhood graphs and reports were very fascinating to me and later I realised that analytics fascinated me more than anything. This passion and curiosity to learn more about analyst made me the person I am today. I researched a lot to find what courses will enable me to be a Business Analyst. Thus I found this college who made my dream come true.

Business Analyst Sep 2015 - Present

When I was picking my optional courses in university, I was always ranking the software based courses on top. Wasn't so sure about which path I would choose as a career, but software subjects seemed to be interesting and fun. So when I graduated as an Industrial Engineer, I was looking for a software company that would not just hire me, but also educate me more. I'm glad that Advancity has picked me as their Business Analyst and gave me the chance to develop myself in a great environment with lots of awesome people and projects.

Business Analyst July 2000 - Sep 2015

Adveecom was a stepping stone During the Entrepreneurship Workshops I've attended back in 2011, I had the chance to meet some amazing people, thanks to Cisco Entrepreneur Institute Bulgaria staff. FinZoom Financial Guide Network's CEO was one of them. After a little chat, I was offered an internship for FinZoom's Turkey project. To be a part of an international team sounded awesome. I gladly jumped in and simply never left...

The business analyst position requires both hard skills and soft skills. Business analysts need to know how to pull, analyze and report data trends, and be able to share that information with others and apply it on the business side. Not all business analysts need a background in IT as long as they have a general understanding of how systems, products and tools work. Alternatively, some business analysts have a strong IT background and less experience in business, and are interested in shifting away from IT to this hybrid role.
